Trail Description Follow narrow game paths over Africa's wide plains, boundless in their game and bird species, fascinating in their geological richness and spectacular with their vistas under the widest bluest sky you've ever seen. Thornview Horse Trails gives riders the opportunity to experience a captivating region of South Africa from a sturdy and sure-footed horse. That ancient harmony of man, horse and the environment will give you a special sense of contentment. Later, sitting around a crackling log fire beneath the southern stars, you will realize that Africa truly is a special place.

Campground Campsites under indigenous bush and own fireplaces enjoy views across manicured lawns. All sites enjoy views to the Mooi River and its willow trees as well as across the sprawling grass plains to the horizon. (Total of 5 sites)
